Best ways to keep parked car cool

The summer is coming up and getting into a scorching car is never pleasant.

some cars windows are tinted but obviously that's not enough.

In some countries, bright sunlight with soaring heat of 40+ degree makes your lovely cars

interiors  fading & cracking. the car owners try to park under trees etc but that is not always 

possible. Tree sap is very annoying as well.Cracking the window open is not an option due 

to safety and security reasons.

So, what else can we do?

front sun shield is the best thing to use as the windscreen is not tinted, so lots of heat can enter here.

All the rest of my windows are tinted and I can feel the difference it makes, when sometimes I wind down the window and suddenly my face/arms get really hot, so it is blocking a lot of heat out.

I put the front shade up and that keeps the dash/seats/steering cool and makes the whole cabin very reasonable, so that the A/C soon has the car nice and cool.

A good trick is to park the car so you know the sun will shine directly onto the front of the car facing into the windscreen – then put the silver sun visor up and that means most of the sun is blocked out.

I don't leave windows down at all due to security (don't like parking where I do at the best of times, let alone make it more attractive), but I often wonder how effective a cm on each window is anyway.

I get to the car, and wind down every window, turn on A/C, fan on high, put my stuff in the car, and by that time it's already blowing cold air out and most of the heat has escaped. I then drive for a few hundred metres with all 4 windows down to let all hot air blow out so A/C not fighting it, then close windows and enjoy A/C awesomeness!
