Using these simple devices sets up a barrier between the harsh sun rays and the car's interior. Installing these sun shades requires opening them and placing them where the sun's rays are blocked by the sun shade material.

Park the auto where it will have the least direct sun and use any available shade.

Open the sun shade by pulling on one end of the material and letting it fan out, much like an accordion.

Slide the sun shade onto the top of the auto's dash board and above the steering column. If your sun shade has a defined notch in the material place that over the steering column. Push the sun shade up to the windshield as far as possible and check that there is little to no sunlight coming through any small seams between the sun shade and the auto's dash.

Open a second sun shade, if you have one, and place it over the rear seats along the bench and push it up to the rear window. Check for any seams and push the sun shade as tightly as possible against the seat bench and the rear window.
